Privacy Policy

Information you send us

The contact form asks for a name, email address, phone number, a message, and a few planning questions — the service you are interested in, grade level, application timeline, budget range, target schools, and how you found us. Submitting the form sends that information to us as an email at support@kangconsulting.org, delivered by Resend, our email provider. We use it to respond to your inquiry and prepare for a consultation. The website keeps no database of submissions.

Scheduling

Booking a consultation uses Cal.com's scheduler. The details you enter there — your name, email address, and the time you pick — are processed by Cal.com under its own privacy policy.

Advertising (Meta Pixel)

We use the Meta Pixel together with Meta's Conversions API to measure how our ads on Facebook and Instagram perform. The pixel records the pages you view on this site, a Lead event when the contact form is submitted, and a Schedule event when a consultation is booked, and it sets cookies (such as _fbp) in your browser. When one of those Lead or Schedule events happens, our server also reports it to Meta directly.

If you submit the contact form, your email address and phone number are shared with Meta for ad measurement only as SHA-256 hashes — computed in your browser for the pixel and on our server for the Conversions API — never in readable form. The server reports also include your IP address, browser type, and the pixel's cookie identifiers, which help Meta match the event to an ad you may have seen. Meta processes this data under its privacy policy. Your browser's tracking protection or an ad blocker stops the pixel; the server reports happen only for the Lead and Schedule events above. You can also adjust your Meta ad preferences.

Site analytics

We use Vercel Web Analytics and Vercel Speed Insights to understand aggregate traffic and page performance. Both are cookie-free and do not follow you across other sites — see Vercel's privacy documentation.

Hosting

The site is hosted on Vercel, which keeps standard server logs — such as IP address and browser type — to operate and secure the service.

What we do not do

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with anyone beyond the service providers named above.

Your choices

Email support@kangconsulting.org to ask what information we hold about you, to correct it, or to have it deleted. Emails you have sent us are kept only as long as we need them to work with you.

Children

Our services are for parents and for students preparing for college admissions. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13; if you believe a child has submitted the form, email us and we will delete it.

Changes

If this policy changes, we will update it here and revise the effective date at the top.
