Co-founded by Daniel Kang, ISEF Best of Category winner, and Andrew Kang, Questbridge Scholar — Daniel later earned full-ride admission to Stanford University and other top institutions without consultants or legacy support.
Most of what an application says about a student was decided long before anyone opened the application. Core is the work that comes first: what they take, what they enter, what they build, and what they eventually write about — planned as one year with Daniel Kang and Andrew Kang, and finished with the application itself.

How it runs
The process, week by week
Consultation
Fit, and how much time there is
Thirty minutes with Daniel Kang and Andrew Kang on where the student stands, what they are actually interested in, and how much of the runway is left. If a shorter engagement is the right answer, that is what we say.
Kickoff
The year, written down once
Course rigor for the terms ahead, a testing timeline that says when to sit each exam rather than tutoring for it, and an honest read on which activities are worth keeping — one plan instead of a decision every term.
Build
Competitions, projects and outreach
The plan becomes weekly work: the competitions worth entering, a project the student can genuinely run, and coaching on the outreach a lab or a program needs — who to contact, what to send, how to follow up. We coach the outreach; we do not sell placements.
Summer
Summer applications as their own project
Selective summer programs close long before the admissions cycle opens, so their applications get their own schedule: shortlist, drafts, reviews, submissions.
Application year
The profile becomes the application
School list, essays, activities, honors and recommenders, with a year of built profile behind it instead of a scramble to find material.

Frequently asked questions
- Who runs the weekly sessions?
- Daniel Kang and Andrew Kang lead every engagement and stay hands-on in the weekly work. They set the plan, they review what comes back each week, and they are the people you talk to when something changes.
- Does this include the research work?
- Not inside this engagement. Research & Competition Coaching is its own annual engagement, with its own page and its own starting price. If research belongs in the student's plan, the consultation is where we work that out.
- Is a testing plan the same as tutoring?
- No. We plan when a student sits each exam and how it fits around coursework and competitions. We do not run test preparation, and we will say so rather than sell an hour of it.
- Can you promise an admission result?
- No. Admissions decisions belong to the schools. No one can promise an admission result, and we don't. What we commit to is the work described on this page, done every week, with named people accountable for it. The outcomes we publish appear on this page alongside the methodology behind them.
- How many students do you take at once?
- Capped cohort capacity to preserve quality of support. That is a limit on how many engagements run at the same time, not a scarcity tactic — we do not publish a number. If we cannot take a student, we say so on the consultation rather than after it.
- What happens on the consultation?
- Thirty minutes with Daniel Kang and Andrew Kang. We go through where the student stands, the time left and what they want, and end with a plain recommendation — including, when it is the right answer, the recommendation not to work with us.
